Education & Events – Overview

Two of the primary goals of GATRA are to:

• Promote the professional development of individuals in the cancer registry profession
• Provide educational and scientific programs for cancer registrars

On an annual basis, GATRA convenes a statewide conference to address the professional development and continuing education of its members. Program agendas from prior annual conferences can be viewed by clicking here. In addition to the annual conference, GATRA also conducts an annual training course to help registrars preparing for the CTR exam. This course is packed with useful information covering all sections of the exam. Other training opportunities outside of GATRA will be listed on this site so check back often! As each year's annual conference approaches, conference and registration information will be available here .
